Today is my brother’s 23rd birthday! How did this happen??? Where has the time gone??? It feels like yesterday you were hanging around outside my bedroom door begging to hang out with me and my friends.
Even though most of the time growing up, you annoyed me to no end, I could still never imagine my life any other way but with you in it. I mean, who else would I have played monster trucks with?! Or modeled by the pool with?! (Fortunately, I don’t have any of those pictures.) Built the best tents in the living room with?! Played basketball in the driveway with?! Ohhhhhh, and my all-time favorite memory of us…when I dressed you up like a girl! (Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures of that!) And, all you ladies out there with a younger brother know EXACTLY what I’m talking about!
Fifteen years ago or so, I may not have admitted it, but deep down, I’ve always known that you were the best little brother a girl could ever have!!! I thank God that you were born 23 years ago today. I am so proud to call you my brother, and I love you very much!
