There was an accident on I-77 that caused some traffic, so there was a possibility the ceremony would have to be delayed.  But,  it turned out all the guests (as far as we know) made it in time, and the ceremony ended up starting right on time.

But, even with the slight delays here and there, Caroline was still all smiles.  The girls started getting ready at Caroline’s parent’s home.

Then it was time to head to Davidson United Methodist Church. Then, it was off to The Point for the reception.  We had just a few minutes to get some shots of the newlyweds.

Love this…immediately after the ceremony, the first couple of minutes as husband and wife.

The food and the cakes were from La-Tea-Da’s Catering…and they were AH-MAZING!  When I found out there was going to be bar-b-q, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese, not gonna lie, I was pretty excited!

After going to a farmer’s market to get fresh flowers the morning of the wedding, the maid of honor (Kelly’s sister, Kristen) and a friend, Dina, made the centerpieces themselves!  Aren’t they beautiful!?

From the engagement session, to the bridals, to the wedding, we had so much fun with you guys!  When Jere and I finally make it down to Greenville, we have to get together!

Well, we started off in the penthouse suite at The Dunhill Hotel in Uptown Charlotte where Kelly was getting ready!  These three shots were taken on one of the two balconies that the suite had…pretty nice view, huh!?

The gorgeous bouquets were done by Todd Murphy Events.

And, hair and makeup on the bride was done by none other than the fabulous Kymm of Who’s the Fairest?.

Kelly and Brandon chose to do a “first look,” and see each other before the ceremony.  Their quiet moment together was truly beautiful.  Here are quite a few shots from my angle and from Jere’s angles.

Rose of Sharon did such beautiful work with all the florals!  I LOVED the centerpieces…they were so fun and whimsical.

And, the gorgeous AND delicious cake was from Signature Cakes by Paul.

Candis’s friend, Jamal Hafza, the lead singer of Calling All Stars sang “Come Rain or Come Shine” while Candis and Cameron danced their first dance as husband and wife.  Calling All Stars is based out of Atlanta and you can listen to some of their music here and “like” their Facebook page here.  They’re amazing, so head on over and check them out!

Candis and Cameron decided to have a photobooth during their reception…and it was SO much fun!  We decided to use that wall as the backdrop because it was the oldest wall in Club Continental.

We supply the props but we can’t take credit for the beer-holding belt buckle, that was all Cris…and I loved it!

Ok, let me just say DJ Paul from D’Land Entertainment did an incredible job!  Then, to top it off, they end the evening by having a last dance.  But, it’s not just any last dance, EVERYONE leaves the reception area (including the DJ) and lets the bride and groom have a private moment.  I thought that was such a sweet idea!  And, before we left the room as well, we made sure to get some shots!

Cameron’s dad (Tom) and Jere’s dad (Jere), Tom and Jere (yeah, like the cartoon ) are both members of  the same Triumph car club.  So, it was only fitting that their getaway car was Tom’s TR3.  After C & C drove it around the block, we were able to do some fun shots with them and the car.

We had so so so much fun during all of the wedding festivities!  Jere and I were honored to be able to document this special time in your lives…thank you for allowing us to do so!!

Candis, her daughter, Calea, and other members of the family had their makeup done by Sunshine of Makeup by Sunshine.  They looked beautiful!

Well, after getting some shots of the new Mr. & Mrs. Skipper, it was off to the reception at Bonterra Dining and Wine Room.

DJ Scooter from One Stop Live did a great job as emcee and he kept the party going all night!!

Oh, and I have to give a shout out to Alisa and Christina, the wedding planners/owners of Charlotte Event Style.  The day went so smoothly because of them.  So, all you brides out there, give them a call if you’re looking for a planner…they are such a pleasure to work with!

The girls began the day getting ready at the Hampton Inn & Suites SouthPark at Phillips Place (wow, that’s a mouthful).  And, the makeup was done by the fabulous Kymm of Who’s the Fairest!

Then it was off to meet Nathan at the reception site, Belk Chapel on the Queens University campus, to do some groomsmen shots.Then, after the guys were gone, Renee and the girls got there to have a little fun in front of the camera as well!At one point, the bouquets became microphones, and this was Renee’s solo of “Eye of the Tiger”! Renee, you are absolutely STUNNING!
